Born in Detroit, Mi



Education

 

I achieved my Masters degree from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend Indiana in April of 2005.  The Masters degree was in Administration with a concentration in general management within the government and the not-for-profit sector.

I achieved My bachelor degree in philosophy with a minor in history  from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan in 1998.  I also achieved 35 graduate credits in Theology in May of 1999 through a study abroad program in Jerusalem, Israel.  



Employment experience

I began my career at Wells Fargo Advisors from 2007-2011 as a financial advisor.  My core responsibilities have focused on growing the practice as well as financial planning for my clients.   I use a variety of asset allocation models and strategies with my clients and I have conducted workshops throughout metro Detroit. My core focus has always been to educate my clients on the financial planning process.    

Before joining Wells Fargo I worked at Chase Bank as a private banker.  I helped to motivate and coach employees in daily meetings and managed a number of client relationships at the bank.  I also analyzed and developed financial plans at the bank for many clients. 

From June of 2000 until May of 2006 I worked at Focus: HOPE in Detroit, I completed a rotation program working 2 years in 3 different departments, The finance department, Commodities supplemental food program and the development department.  In the development department I managed existing corporate relationships and cultivated new relationships for the organization.  I  met deadlines and followed through with a number of requests.  I gained an understanding of the importance of partnerships in the nonprofit sector as well as any successful organization. 



Personal

 

I've been married to my wife Kathleen for over 10 years and we have twin boys.  I enjoy fishing, sailing and camping.

Board member on the development committee for St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.

Member of the Notre Dame club of Detroit.
